ABOUT ME

Hey y’all! I’m Juan Carlos Romero Muñoz (he/him), but you can just call me Juan! (Can’t begin to tell you how many “Juan” jokes I’ve heard throughout my life.) I am a recent graduate of Point Park University where I received my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance. I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to two amazing Cuban parents. They were both athletes so you can imagine their shock when I came out singing Celine Dion.

My passion for musical theatre started when I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and was in the playground of my elementary school singing and twirling around and my teacher said I should look into performing arts schools. From there, I went to Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts for musical theatre and have been hooked ever since!

Besides theatre, I love to crack open a good book (The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides is my personal favorite), hit the gym, walk “too fast”, blast some Beyoncé, and be the cool uncle to my niece and nephew!
